My Mission: Create a Corporate Social Responsibility report for the Campbell Soup Company that exemplifies their commitment to giving back to the communities they operate in.

My Solution: Using the Campbell Soup Company’s commitment of Nourishing People’s Lives Everywhere, Every Day, I started working and searching for inspiration.

I love cookbooks. Now that’s not to say that I love to cook (I hate to cook, but that’s another story). I love the feeling that a cook book can give one…hope that they can make something beautiful, nourishing, and delicious. The promising positivity of cookbooks lead me to my Campbell’s concept of fresh, green, bountiful ingredients that make the reader feel like I do when I open a cookbook. Hopeful for the future of health and wellness. Optimistic that the company that they are investing their hard-earned money in is taking steps to make this world a better place.

Closely cropped, macro shots of the freshest, most healthful ingredients. Photographs of volunteers working in community gardens. Approachable graphs and charts that readers can actually understand (unlike so many other annual reports we’ve all seen). Conscious use of white space so the text doesn’t overwhelmingly consume each and every page. A natural palette of greens, symbolizing growth, freshness, and harmony with nature.

The result is a fresh (pun intended) take on a Corporate Social Responsibility Report.
